We've been loyal fans of this com tam spot since it was operating inside a club, and we're thrilled it found a new home--it's even better now! This place specializes in Vietnamese broken rice (com tam), and they keep things refreshingly simple: 1. Choose your base--com tam (broken rice) or bun (rice noodles). 2. Pick three meats from a solid list of savory, grilled goodness. And here's the kicker: only $14 for a loaded plate. That's crazy good value, especially considering the generous meat portions. We always leave with a to-go box stacked with leftovers, and it still feels like a steal. A quick tip--there's a 2% credit card fee, but you can skip that by paying with Zelle. Super convenient. What really won me over? The staff was incredibly kind and even let me bring my dog inside, offering us a cozy corner seat. That thoughtful touch made the whole meal feel even warmer. If you're craving authentic com tam that's flavorful, filling, and affordable, this spot deserves a permanent spot on your go-to list. Absolutely Elite-worthy.

Food was very tasty & delicious -- exactly what we expected. Service was super: friendly and quickly and free (tasty) dessert. It was very convenient for us to dine here. We enjoyed the food and dining experience. The reason it didn't get 5 stars due to the lack of cleanliness. The dining tables, the chairs, the utensils holder, the windows, and the floor are in need some cleaning. The restroom was cleaned -- which was nice. We visit this area often but first time dining here. We were impressed with the food and service -- hopefully next time the restaurant will be nicer & cleaner.

They do not SKIMP on the portion of food. We went for a late dinner and luckily it wasn't busy (it was a weekday). The vermincelli noodles with bbq pork and egg roll surely hit the spot. However I wished there was another egg roll to balance all the other ingredients. The meat was very juicy and had a nice charred taste. My family got the broken rice dishes and surprisingly they were able to finish the whole plate, given they don't each much. With a plate larger than their faces and to be able finish everything, it's worth coming here! The service was quick and the staff was very friendly :) we would come back when we're down in SoCal again

1. The rice dish was well-made, and the Vietnamese iced coffee was strong! 2. The spot has casual vibes! 3. There are only indoor seatings! 4. The staff was timely with our order but not attentive after they bring the food out! 5. Parking spots are plenty! Note: There is 2% fee for all card transactions, and it seems they really preferred payments and tips in cash! Photo: Com Tam and Vietnamese Iced Coffee

The first impression of the place was cold and boring since not much of inviting and the welcome was lukewarm. I guess the place was packed prior our group arrival since all the plates on tables weren't cleaned at all. The service was okey, they dropped off the menu and gave us 3mins and took the ordered. Not much of conversation nor tell us about the foods. The foods came out quickly and look great, but somehow at room temperature but it's aok for the type of the dish. For the prices, I would say not bad at all and the portion is very reasonable, I had to have a doggie bag for the ribs since I couldn't finished it. The foods are tasty and good. I would come back when I'm in the area and craving for broken rice for sure.

Com Tam Bui hits different. Their Com Tam is delicious and is easily my go-to Vietnamese rice dish. The rice is cooked to just the right texture. Fluffy yet slightly sticky. A perfect base for the meats/sides you prefer. If you add nuoc cham, it ties it all together, making every bite slap harder than the last. You can fsho leave full and satisfied after dining here. If you're in the area pull up.

This is a chill little place that has a modern cafe vibe. We were not greeted immediately but the lady at the register was nice to us when we got to the register inside. She offered us to sit anywhere and we were promptly given menus and also were able to order pretty easily. The place is pretty clean and it was dead when we got in but I noticed quite a few people coming in for food pick up. DRINK: Vietnamese Coffee: This was delicious! Great balance of coffee and milk! Not overly sweet, just right! FOOD: Soup: I'm not sure what it is called but it is a wonderful start to the meal. It is light, delicious, and refreshing. Com Tam (Broken Rice): Wow! First of all it was weird for me not eating Pho when I eat Vietnamese food, and this was AMAZING! The rice is cooked perfectly and the meats are also cooked very well. I got the chinese sausage, pork rib, and some other pork meat. The veggies are also a nice refreshing taste and texture to the meal! OVERALL: The food was great! This is a new meal for me so it feels life changing, but I don't think the idea is revolutionary. The service was not what you would expect in a sit down restaurant, but every interaction we had was great. There was just no order to the service. We got our meals first, then our drinks. They did not really check on us at all as well. I think that despite the service not being as great as I would have liked, the food pulls it through to a 4/5.

First time here and it didn't disappoint. Portion of meat and rice was a good ratio. You can order an extra side of rice and share between two people. Fish sauce is a bit on the saltier end so a little goes a long way.
